The cloud-inspired Nuage backplate by Bonnemazou Cambus is a more contemporary take on a classical shape. We offer it with a choice of three knobs: The orb-shaped Bille Small (non-footed) and Bille Medium (footed), or the stepped Degre Medium. The plate and knob are offered in waxed natural brass, which has an aged, shiny but not mirror-like appearance, with screws to match. The finish is meant to look worn-in, and may arrive with small pits, scratches, or other imperfections, and will patina over time unless it’s polished back to its original state. 

Customizations: Other metal finishes and colors are available for an additional fee (including but not limited to mirror-polished brass, bronze, gunmetal, nickel, silver, and copper, all either brushed or polished, or powder coating matched to an RAL). These handles can also be installed back-to-back on glass shower doors (or other doors) with an optional hardware customization — as shown in photos in an interior by Meredith Stern.
