Drawing inspiration from traditional Nordic entryway handles, the Shepherd’s Hook door handle by Office of Tangible Space is as versatile as it is visually impactful: It can be installed individually or can vertically stack, thanks to careful design calibration that lets each piece nest perfectly into the next. Stacked, it makes a bigger statement, but also allows for comfortable use by people of various heights. This version is made in solid cast-bronze, with an oil-rubbed finish that’s meant to show wear with use. Each bronze handle weighs 4 lbs, but the Shepherd’s Hook is also available in a lighter-weight and lower-priced plywood version, see here.
