The Lune backplate by Bonnemazou Cambus can be installed either as a stand-alone half-moon, or in a pair across two doors, for a full-moon effect. We offer it with a choice of three knobs: The orb-shaped Bille Small (non-footed) and Bille Medium (footed), or the stepped Degre Medium. The plate and knob are each offered in either polished, waxed natural brass — which has an aged, shiny but not mirror-like appearance — or sandblasted stainless steel with a satin-black powder-coated finish, and screws to match. The natural brass finish is meant to look worn-in, and may arrive with small pits, scratches, or other imperfections, and will patina over time unless it’s polished back to its original state.

The brass set can also be installed back-to-back on regular doors and glass shower doors. For glass door sets, you will receive a pair of custom backplates, a pair of knobs of your choosing (medium only), four large Chicago screws to mount the plates to the glass (rather than six small screws), and a double-ended mount for the handles, plus plastic spacers for all screws. Both sets are designed for wood doors that are 40mm thick or glass doors that are 9.5 mm thick — if yours are a different size, please email us before ordering.
