The cloud-inspired Nuage backplate by Bonnemazou Cambus is a more contemporary take on a classical shape. We offer it with a choice of three knobs: The orb-shaped Bille Small (non-footed) and Bille Medium (footed), or the stepped Degree Medium. The plate and knob are each offered in either polished, waxed natural brass — which has an aged, shiny but not mirror-like appearance — or sandblasted stainless steel with a satin-black powder-coated finish, and screws to match. The natural brass finish is meant to look worn-in, and may arrive with small pits, scratches, or other imperfections, and will patina over time unless it’s polished back to its original state.
