From his studio in Medellín, Colombia, Chris Wolston — who’s also based in New York City — creates artisanal designs in wood, wicker, metal, and ceramic that often feature fantastical takes on plants, animals, and body parts. For Petra, he’s distilled some of those motifs into a sophisticated collection of pulls, knobs, and handles in bronze or aluminum, some with simple forms and some that he’s cast in the shape of spiders, snakes, flowers, and more. Note: This piece has incorporated screws that are 1" long, with matching nuts included, so it's best for surfaces that are around 3/4" thick.
