The mirror-polished Sphere handle by Brazil's Estúdio Rain makes a bold statement on any interior door (or large cabinet), with a design that's at once contemporary and reminiscent of the '60s/'70s. Its form is based on a simple globe shape that's been sliced twice: first in half to lie flush against a door, and then on the side to create an ergonomic opening for one's hand. It can be installed with its straight side aligned with the door's edge, or its curved side inset from the door’s edge, the latter singly or in pairs — either way it’s a visual game-changer for any space. The Sphere may be used on exterior doors, but has not been tested for saltwater exposure.
