To make her signature MetaMaterial, Elyse Graham and her team in Oregon first cast resin into simple shapes, then cut, arrange and re-cast these pieces within two more layers of resin, creating nuanced, highly curated patterns that are entirely non-repeating. The process ensures that each piece of hardware is totally unique, while creating a cohesive story. The Tortoise knobs are sanded to a satin finish (pictured), but can be ordered with a gloss finish as well (shown here on large round knob).

Tortoise is a contemporary take on a classic tortoiseshell pattern, with a matching square knob as well as a matching family of pulls, but the series is also available in Lemur, a vibrant, graphic composition of black, white, blue, and coral. View the full collection here.
