Eva Anna Gulacsi — founder of Evaanna — is an architect and metalsmith based in Budapest. Gulacsi studied traditional jewelry making, but was always more interested in creating for the home. In a world of mass production, she finds value in the imperfect beauty of handmade things. Gulacsi sculpts and finishes each piece herself in her Budapest studio, with all castings made by a family-run local foundry. Her process results in minimal raw material waste, and no plastic is used in her packaging.
