The Potato Knob was created for Petra by artist and Block Shop co-founder Hopie Stockman Hill for her own home, and is meant to bring organic texture and personality to the clean lines of cabinetry. Initially hand-sculpted in clay, the Potato Knob is hand-cast in unlacquered brass at an LA foundry and comes in both a left-facing and a right-facing orientation, each with a slightly different sizing. Every piece is 100% unique and may have irregularities or imperfections. Unlacquered brass will patina with time, but can be restored to its original shine with a polish such as Brasso.
