Antoni Gaudi

Batlló Butterfly Door Handle

$180
Description

The Batlló Butterfly Knob is part of a collection of brass doorknobs and door handles by the late Modernist Spanish architect Antonio Gaudí. This one — which is static, with no turning mechanism — was originally designed between 1902 and 1910 for his celebrated constructions in Barcelona: Casa Calvet, Casa Batló, and Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera. In 1978, the Spanish furniture company BD Barcelona began faithfully reproducing the series. The Batlló Butterfly Knob is made from solid polished brass and is engraved with Gaudí's signature.
