Antoni Gaudi

Batlló No. 2 Door Handle

$258
Description

The Batlló No. 2 is part of a collection of brass doorknobs and door handles by the late Modernist Spanish architect Antonio Gaudí. This one — which is static, with no turning mechanism — was originally designed between 1902 and 1910 for his celebrated constructions in Barcelona: Casa Calvet, Casa Batló, and Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera. In 1978, the Spanish furniture company BD Barcelona began faithfully reproducing the series. The Batlló No. 2 is made from solid polished brass and is engraved with Gaudí's signature.
