For years, Mike Ruiz Serra has been small-batch hand-sculpting, and casting in iron, an array of objects for the home. Now, after perfecting his unconventional molding process and developing manufacturing relationships with eclectic American foundries, he's launched Serra Hardware, whose works are characterized by their crude texture and irregular forms. His intuitive sculpting process is carefree and fun, which ultimately shines through in the finished products.
