The Planchart Handle by Australia's Studio Henry Wilson is a bold utilitarian object created in homage to Gio Ponti’s Villa Planchart in Caracas, a modernist house the architect designed in the 1950s and described as "a big butterfly poised on the hillside." Each handle is sand-cast and rumble-finished; because of small-batch manufacturing, slight variations will be visible from one piece to another. These production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. The non-blackened versions will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. If preferred, use a metal polish such as Brasso to restore brightness. Delivered with adjustable screws.
