Studio Sam Klemick
After years of working as a fashion designer, L.A.'s Sam Klemick began woodworking out of a need to make objects with her own hands. Her work celebrates textiles through sculptural wood furnishings. From bell-shaped lounge chairs with patchwork upholstery to ribbon-like wood stools, Klemick’s trompe l’oeil-like pieces render rigid, salvaged materials as soft, often cloud-like forms of bubbly proportions.
