Operating under her alter ego, Ursula Futura, Vienna-based designer Kathrin Schaden captures the mystery and magic of glass's water-like properties. The studio’s experimental pieces take nature, science, and moments of wonder as their starting points. Schaden's design process is intuitive and often happens in close collaboration with her glass artisans.
