Studio Henry Wilson
Ball Hook
Description
The Ball hook by Australia's Studio Henry Wilson starts from a sphere, and the geometry is then scalloped and cut to reveal two distinct hanging points. The design is a take on the futuristic visions of the postwar Italian greats, Joe Colombo and Achille Castiglioni. It's made from sand-cast metal, and because manufacturing occurs in small batches, slight variations will be visible from one hook to another. These production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. The non-blackened versions will oxidize and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. If preferred, use a metal polish such as Brasso or Silvo to restore brightness. Delivered with adjustable mounting screws.
