The Block Knob was created for Petra by artist and Block Shop co-founder Hopie Stockman Hill for her own home, and is meant to bring organic texture to the clean lines of cabinetry. Initially hand-sculpted in clay, the Block Knob is hand-cast in unlacquered brass at an L.A. foundry. Every piece is 100% unique and may have irregularities or imperfections. Unlacquered brass will patina with time, but can be restored to its original shine with a polish such as Brasso.

Customizations: Four additional finishes are now available, with a minimum order quantity of 40 pieces (see photo): blackened brass, patina-treated brass, polished and lacquered brass, and aluminum. Email us to inquire.
