These cast aluminum knobs by furniture and object designer Jan Ankiersztejn are entirely sand-cast and hand-finished by Jan himself in his workshop in Poland. Unlike the rest of his practice, which is rooted in traditional sheet-metal shaping techniques, his hardware is created through casting. Each piece is made from offcuts from his sheet-metal process, transforming leftover material into functional objects rather than discarding it. The knobs have a satin aluminum finish and can also be used as wall hooks.

NOTE: Due to the nature of sand-casting and manual finishing, each piece carries surface variations, small marks, and organic imperfections that make every object unique. These characteristics are considered part of the design — refunds will not be offered for surface marks and imperfections.

Customizations: A mirror-polished aluminum finish is available for an additional fee with a minimum of 12 knobs (total across all styles); email us to discuss.
