The Hemispheres Oval Doorknob is designed by the New York interiors firm Civilian, for the Australian premium hardware company Bankston. It's a latching fixture that pairs a hemispherical knob with a minimalist oval backplate, which heightens its visual impact while allowing for an optional integrated locking mechanism. Each set is made to the highest quality standards.

Hemispheres Oval is available in a choice of 3 backplate finishes (polished chrome, bone powdercoat, or satin nickel) and 5 knob materials (Portoro gold marble, solid walnut, polished chrome, bone powdercoat, or satin nickel).  It's available as a passage set (non-locking), privacy set (included thumb turn lock, matching finish), or entrance set (with a lock-ready cutout in either the elongated EU/AU or circular US style); please reference photo diagrams for available lock types and appearances. Walnut knob not recommended for use on external doors.
