The Mama large cabinet knobs by New York’s Known Work celebrates the female form — in particular the breast — as a symbol of femininity and strength. Inspired by French artist Gerd Rothmann and his groundbreaking “body impression” jewelry from the 1970s, the designers drew influence from how fashion has approached adorning that area of the body. Each Mama Knob is individually spun and turned by hand; because of this crafted quality please expect some variation in finish from piece to piece. Finishes will patina with use.
