Founded by Danu Kennedy and Jeremy Levitt, partners of the award-winning New York City-based interiors firm Parts and Labor Design, Known Work is an expression of their dedication to detailed craft, material integrity, and fostering community at an intimate scale. At the helm of the studio is Creative Director Alex Dilena, the trio envisioned Known Work together, bringing their collaborative approach to the forefront of their design process.

The studio launched its first collection of furniture and home objects in February of 2024, and their Mama series for Petra is their first hardware line.
