Reinoud Oudshoorn

Sculptural House Numbers

$625
Number
Description

These original house numbers were designed and produced in the early 2000s by acclaimed Dutch artist Reinoud Oudshoorn for the Olympian Quarter in Amsterdam, a landmark residential development by architects Rudi Uytenhaak, Lafour & Wijk, and Mulleners & Mulleners. Cast in solid, high-grade, ball-burnished aluminum, each number embodies Oudshoorn’s mission for the project: that every resident should have a sculpture of their own. Inspired by the expressive forms of the Amsterdam School architectural movement, the numbers glisten like oversized raindrops on a façade. They are weatherproof and made to endure — a 200-year lifespan is guaranteed.
