Clarissa Guzman of Platform Studio’s hardware is influenced by nostalgia for her childhood in Texas and Mexico, blended with formal references to Brutalism and religious relics. She makes each piece by hand in her Brooklyn studio in glazed stoneware. Each piece is individually shaped, trimmed, sanded, and painted, so each is slightly unique. NOTE: The back of Platform's pieces are unglazed, including mounting posts.
