Platform Studio was founded by Clarissa Guzman, an object and spatial designer in New York City. Her work in visuals and sourcing led her to start the company, wanting to provide more bespoke options for everyday items like handles and curtain tiebacks. Her work is influenced by nostalgia for her childhood in Texas and Mexico, blended with her current influences, including Brutalism and religious relics.
