Handmade using traditional craft and jewelry techniques, the Vala knobs by Australian master metalsmith V.Brokkr take the form of a cast-copper cylinder that's scooped out on top and filled with colorful, high-gloss vitreous enamel. The process of firing the enamel into the center is similar to the process of glazing ceramics, where each piece acquires its own unique character. NOTE: These knobs are made using highly variable handicraft methods, so while enamel colors will be fairly consistent within one order, the color you receive may vary from the images shown here, as well as the level of roughness of the outer sandcast knob base. Please do not order unless your project can handle some variation in color and texture. Returns will not be accepted on the basis of color or texture variation.
