Trained as a silversmith, and having worked under Australian and German masters, Ned Vernon of V.Brokkr creates architectural hardware that utilizes both new and traditional techniques to look beyond the commercial considerations of mass production. Driving his process are a veneration for noble materials and a desire to produce objects that last generations. His work channels his love for all the hardware and doors throughout history that have been carefully crafted to reference the architecture and time period they were created for. His pieces also reference mythical symbolisms of the door, such as protection and transience, as well as Brutalist and Italian midcentury design.

In addition to carrying a curated selection of the studio's existing lines, Petra is happy to be the exclusive representative for V.Brokkr's new Vala line of enameled knobs and doorknobs.
